- Laura had a famous ancestor, William Corder (21/06/1804 - 11/08/1828) who was executed as the 'Red Barn' murderer. His skelleton was displayed in a hospital foyer until after the 2nd world war. My cousin, Linda Nessworth wrote a book about the murder and the Corder family called "Murdering Maria (ISBN 0-9540356-0-7)
