  	The rationale that it was John Nosworthy, son of William and Ann, who married Ann Brinning is based on the 1851 and 1861 censuses which state John was born in Widecombe in the Moor and are age appropriate; also, his age at burial was 84 in 1862, which supports a birth around 1771. Historical documentation of his son who immigrated to Canada in 1852 provides further support for this claim.
